Experience
Fixed Assets Register – Maintenance of a complete and accurate fixed asset register with all pertinent details reconciled to the general ledger. Monthly calculation of depreciation. Updating for additions and disposals. Preparation and processing of depreciation, addition and disposals journals.
Vat reasonability – Perform Vat reasonableness and investigate any reconciling items.
Costs Analysis – Review costs detail weekly and investigate unusual costs and obtain supporting documentation. Set up monthly department meetings with Managers. Process correcting entries and provide support to departmental Managers, liase with suppliers and set up meetings should this be required.
Prepare Management Reports
Internal & External Auditors – Co-ordinate audit samples and submit documents as requested by Auditors.
Reconciliation and Maintenance of provisions and general ledger accounts
Involvement in cost accounting projects
Reconciliation of bank accounts
Processing of month end journals.
Completion of financial reports and key performance indicators.
Performance of stock counts and reconciliation.
