“I would never have imagined owning my own business, let alone my very own franchise as part of a successful international company like Express.
My journey with Express started 20 years ago when I walked in with a strong background in retail and a passion and drive to learn as much as I could. I found myself falling in love with the challenges and the successes that come with being in HR. But I also fell in love with something you don’t always think about – the people.. The reality is that we are in the business of people and how we work with people, how we treat people and how we help people reach their full potential is what separates this company from so many others.
My hard work and dedication paid off when I got offered the opportunity to start my own franchise after five years of working as a consultant. I’m proud to say that I reached ‘circle’ in my third year (an incentive program for successful offices reaching target) as a franchise owner and kept this achievement for 11 of the 15 years in operation.
This wouldn’t have been possible if I could not make use of the already proven sales and marketing systems provided by Express. Everything from Express’ professional Marketing material, fully functional Express Head office assistance with payroll support and expert advice, as well as the personal support when needed. This gave me the ability to focus 100% of my efforts towards building a successful business.
