She is no novice to the staffing industry! Having years of experience in the field, read how Angelique Wait Claassen became an Express franchise owner for Port Elizabeth and what it takes to grow as a successful franchisee:

“I started working at Express Employment Professionals as an External Sales Consultant and worked my way up to a Manageress after 11 years. Being an employee at Express Employment since December 2004, I was given the opportunity in October 2015 to become a franchisee and buy over the PE office, as I knew the business and kept its doors open for almost 7 years.

I believe my experience and knowledge gained over the past 15 years at Express and recognizing the commitment from Head Office Staff and America, that owning a franchise within Express Employment would be the best decision.

I completed all Express University Courses up to Business Management and after buying into the franchise I was sent to Oklahoma for further training. We still to date have annual monthly webinars, online training courses and the support of Head Office for any training we require.

Becoming an Express franchisee has changed my life in many ways. I have learnt the importance of connecting new clients with existing employees, the art of advertising and selling my franchise, growing the Express family with new businesses via word of mouth and through consistent hard work. It can be a challenge on a daily basis trying to adopt the mindset of consistent growth, as well as remaining financially secure, and working towards personal growth.
