
Description
As a Supervisor within South Africa's Industrial Automation Sector, the role involves overseeing the implementation and management of automated systems designed to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. You will be expected to keep records and produce reports that will be used to review team performance.

Duties & Responsibilities
Making sure employees that report to you meet performance expectations.
Giving instructions or orders to employees who report to you.
Ensuring that the work environment is safe, secure and healthy.
Meeting deadlines.

Knowledge :
In-depth understanding of industrial automation systems and processes.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
Knowledge of quality control and assurance practices.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the industrial automation or related sector.
Proven track record of managing teams and overseeing projects in an industrial setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in using industrial automation software and tools.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneous
Formal Education:
A National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Additional qualifications in industrial automation or control systems are advantageous.
Certifications:
Certifications in supervisory management or project management can be beneficial.
Relevant industry certifications, such as those from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), can enhance a candidate's profile.
Technical Training:
Training in specific industrial automation technologies and software.
Continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and courses related to industrial automation and management.
